Susquehanna Art Museum presents an investigation of contemporary conceptual art in the S. Wilson and Grace M. Pollock Education Center Gallery August 10 – November 4, 2018. Through the work of eight regional artists, we will explore the processes that artists use to illustrate the unique concepts on display.
Color Improvisations 2 is a special invitational exhibition of contemporary quilts curated by Nancy Crow, one of the most celebrated and influential quiltmakers of the past forty years.
Pattern & Place combines the work of artists Danielle Klebes and Maija Miettinen. Both Klebes and Miettinen create luminous large-scale paintings that incorporate patterned brushstrokes as a response to the world around them and the spaces they inhabit.

Morgan Ford Willingham’s investigation of motherhood considers the identity of parent and child, and weighs the influence of nature versus nurture. Willingham manipulates found textiles using photography and hand embroidery techniques.
"Dōshi Spotlight" features ceramics by Beverlee Lehr, works on paper by Jo Margolis, and oil paintings by Mary Hochendoner.
The quilts presented in this exhibition are graphically striking examples that embody a sense of “wall power.”
