Into the Pixel

In partnership with The Entertainment Software Association and the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, SAM is exhibiting selections from the annual Into the Pixel collection. Created in 2004, the annual ITP art exhibit honors video game artists who continue to push the interactive entertainment art form forward.

Exhibition

Into the Pixel is a one-of-a-kind exhibition of art created by acclaimed video game developers. A juried panel – comprised of leading art historians, curators and experts – selects new pieces via a competitive process open to video game artists and storytellers from around the world. The Entertainment Software Association (ESA), which represents the U.S. video game industry, began gathering this collection in 2004.
