Artistic Expressions Teen Art Academy 2025

Susquehanna Art Museum is pleased to partner with Artistic Expressions to coordinate a 5-day summer program for high school students in the greater Harrisburg area with a passion and dedication for art.

This program provides rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors with access to working artists, educators, and community organizations to explore new artistic mediums, gain access to local arts institutions, and engage in conversations about contemporary art.

In the summer of 2025, students are invited to take an in-depth look at SAM’s exhibition Future Fossils, learn new material techniques, and explore concepts within their own artwork. Experienced art educators, community organizers, and SAM’s Director of Education will work hands-on with students to explore new ways of making art, and the intersection of material and meaning.

Mediums and processes that will be explored in the 2025 program include sculpture, mold-making, life drawing and more!

Early bird pricing ($125) ends on May 1, 2025

Regular pricing ($150) will apply to all entries received after May 1st
