Pre-K Paper Play (Parents & Children 3-5)

Pre-K Paper Play with Elaine Elledge

For pre-schoolers and their families!

Join us for an early-childhood program for families with children ages 3-5 (though siblings are welcome too!). This event includes museum admission and a simple make and take activity. Elaine Elledge, exhibiting artist in the Lobby Gallery, will lead children in creating their own colorful paper suncatchers to mimic her paper window installation. Space is limited, so register today and enjoy the fun!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Elaine Elledge is a 2014 graduate of the printmaking program at Penn State University. She earned the Penn State Bruce Shobaken Endowed Award in Printmaking, which funded her time as an artist in residence at Green Olive Arts in Tetouan, Morocco. In December 2018, she received a grant to complete her design for a large-scale, interactive, outdoor installation at Rhoneymeade Sculpture Garden and Arboretum. She currently lives in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with her spouse and two young children, where she is also a permanent studio artist at The Millworks. Her solo exhibition, Margins and the Height of the Sun, is on view through October 6.
