This course is designed to develop fundamental drawing skills with a focus on training the hand and the eye to work together to produce a piece of art. Students will learn techniques such as composition, shading, and other various drawing methods. In this month’s class, participants will learn observational and material techniques to draw self-portraits from life.

Graphite and charcoal will be the primary materials for this class. Graphite pencils, charcoal,  and paper will be provided, but bringing your favorite drawing tools is encouraged!
