Celebrating Sprocket! Spocket Murals 2014 – 2017
Sprocket Mural Works, a citywide mural project, engages with neighborhoods, artists and organizations to create vibrant community murals across Harrisburg. Sprocket’s mission is to increase community pride and civic engagement in Harrisburg through creative action.
Sprocket Mural Works began in 2014 as a passion project led by two city residents who wished to see Harrisburg covered in vibrant art. Since then, this grassroots organization has completed 35+ murals in the Harrisburg region. Celebrating Sprocket! is a record of the public art created with community of volunteers and artists. As the organization prepares for the 2019 Mural Fest, they invite you to look back and see how far the organization has come.
“We are so proud and humbled by the outpouring of energy, collaboration and support that has made each mural a reality. We would like to extend our warmest gratitude our sponsors, as well as the photographers and videographers who beautifully documented these moments of creation. ”
