Visit exhibitions on view in the galleries, browse the gift shop, and meet friends in Midtown! 3rd in the Burg is the perfect opportunity to take a fresh look at art and begin a dialogue with a fellow visitor. House Pianist Ralph Diekemper regularly performs during this special event!

VanGo! Museum on Wheels
Take a step on the VanGo! Museum on Wheels during this 3rd in the Burg. SAM’s mobile museum will be parked in front of SAM and open for visitors from 6 to 8 pm on August 16th.

Open Workshop
Natalie Kuenzi, one of the artist’s featured on the VanGo!, will be leading an open workshop during the August 3rd in the Burg. Starting at 6pm, Kuenzi will be in the Education Center, teaching how to make and use yarn made from plastic bags! Visitors are invited to come and go until 8pm to participate in the workshop. All ages and ability levels are welcome!
