Artistic Expressions Teen Art Academy 2026
Arts Education
ARTISTIC EXPRESSIONS TEEN ART ACADEMY
METHODS OF IMAGE-MAKING
Susquehanna Art Museum is pleased to partner with Artistic Expressions to coordinate a 5-day summer program for high school students with a passion and dedication for art.
This program provides rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors with access to working artists, educators, and community organizations to explore new artistic mediums, gain access to local arts institutions, and engage in conversations about contemporary art.
Our summer 2026 is Methods of Image-Making. Students will take an in-depth look at the work of SoHyun Bae in SAM’s Beverlee and Bill Lehr Gallery, learn new material techniques, and explore concepts within their own artwork. Experienced art educators, community organizers, and SAM’s Director of Education will work hands-on with students to explore new ways of making art, and the intersection of material and meaning.
Mediums and processes that will be explored in the 2026 program include printmaking, cyanotype, life drawing and more!
