Kids Art Club: NIGHTFALL- Inspired Mixed Media Art (ages 6-9)

Create your own mixed media works of art inspired by our current juried exhibit NIGHTFALL. Discover how contemporary artists express feelings of rest, comfort, excitement and fear through landscapes, cityscapes, and abstract works of art. Students will experiment with drawing and painting techniques using light and dark backgrounds and wax resist painting methods. 

This class is designed for students ages 6-9.

Class Hours:

10:30 am – 12:30 pm 

This is a drop-off class, parents/guardians are welcome to stay and enjoy our exhibits or return for pick up at 12:30 pm. 

Class fee:

$12 with RSVP, $15 day of admission 

Museum members receive a 10% discount.

Pre-registration ends Friday, February 6 at 4:00 pm. After this time, tickets will need to be purchased at the museum on the day of the class.
